OMSI is holding a mini maker fair. Info is at https://www.omsi.edu/maker-faire-pdx. It's September 10-11, 10:00-17:00.
They are also in need of volunteers. Details at the bottom of the link and copied below.
As a volunteer, you could help with the event set-up, wayfinding, or supporting Makers as they showcase their creative endeavors. We have multiple volunteer shifts available on September 9, 10, & 11. If you’re interested, email Rachel Miller, rmiller@omsi.edu or call 503.797.4615 to sign up.
