For those of you who have HDHP medical coverage, I suggest making out of pocket contribution to your HSA for the balance of the year, when paycheck deduction will not occur. This will reduce your tax burden for 2016, as well as preserve a larger portion of your gross income for a worthy cause (paying for future medical expenses and insurance premiums).
